I'm not talking about caps, but why do so few people wear hats? A hat has a purpose, unlike a tie for example. I like hats myself, they create something unique, as part of one's personality. The reason for my hat madness is basically that my hair is very thin, eventually, but, when there was style and order in the world (apparently), there were few women or men who didn't wear hats, at least on visits or in public gatherings. I remember being so proud when I got my Grandfather's hat, which he himself had bought in the United States. Do any women or men have an opinion on the subject?
